The rules of private health insurance have been updated in Turkey!

An important package of changes has been published that enhances protection for policy holders, including foreigners with a residence permit. That's what's changed.:

, Lifetime renewal guarantee
Insurance companies are required to extend policies without restrictions for customers up to 60 years if:
• The policy is valid for 3 consecutive years without interruption;
• The balance of payments and contributions is maintained.

, The waiting period is only once
Valid only for the first registration. If you extend or change an insurer under the same plan, you don't have to wait any longer!

, More transparency
Insurers are required to inform customers in detail, and they can also use SBGM data to assess risks.
