➡️ Abdullah Güler, Chairman of the ruling AK Party, has announced an increase in the minimum pension to 12,500 liras. The decision will affect some 3.7 million pensioners and cost the budget 33.2 billion liras.
⚫️ The bill will first be reviewed by a committee, then in the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. After the vote, it will become law and enter into force.
🔹️ There are about 16.2 million pensioners in Turkey now.
