Financial literacy is becoming a mandatory subject in Turkish schools. The new course will be taught at all levels of education, from primary schools to high schools.

The program has been developed by the Ministry of Education and the Capital Markets Board, focusing on practical skills needed in everyday life.

Students will learn:
— personal budget management
— basics of investing
— protection from financial fraud
— digital security
— risks of online betting and gambling

Financial literacy is considered a fundamental life skill that helps individuals make informed decisions and manage their finances effectively.
