New rules for enrollment in the migration service of Turkey

🔹️From June 2024 Turkey is introducing a new system to sign up for interviews to obtain or extend a residence permit. 📅

🔹️Göç Randevu Sistemi page will be activated on July 24, 2024. Through it, it will be possible to make an appointment at the Migration Department.

The new system will allow: 
- 📲 To make an appointment without re-entering information 
- 🖥️ Track your rendezvous appointment online 
- 📂 Store previously uploaded documents

🔹️Entrance to the system will be done through the official government website or e-devlet. 🌐

🔹️New system is intended for those foreigners who already have a residence permit, work permit, and international or temporary protection status. 🌍

🔹️What a rendezvous is for? 
A personal visit to the Migration Office is the final stage of applying for or renewing an ikamet (residence permit) in Turkey.

1. 📝 Filling in the online application form (after which the foreigner is provided with a list of documents) 
2. 📑 Collection of documents and references, translations, apostille placement 
3. 📆 Recording for rendezvous 
4. 🏢 Visit to the Migration Service with a full package of documents.

🔹️If all documents are correct, the Migration Service officer issues a temporary ikamet, which the foreigner must carry with him until the issuance of the main residence permit.
