🔹️ Research at the Salt Lake (Tuz Gölü) has revealed that 4,300 little flamingos have appeared here. This is one of the most important nesting reservoirs for these beautiful birds.

🔹️ Prof. Ahmet Karataş from Nigde University Ömer Halisdemir said that due to the dry weather, the number of chicks has decreased compared to last year, when 12,000 chicks hatched. But flamingos are still unique birds of the Mediterranean basin.

🔹️"We have been monitoring the flamingo population for 20 years. These amazing birds choose salty water bodies from Spain to Kazakhstan," Karatash shared.
