What should I do when replacing my passport for foreigners in Turkey?

🕒 When replacing your passport, it is important to notify the migration authorities and update your data in time to avoid possible problems with the law. 

📄 Notifying the Migration Service: You have 20 working days to notify the Migration Service after you receive your new passport. 

🏢 What needs to be done: 

1. Contact your local Migration Service office. 

2. Bring new and old passports, a valid residence permit and an application form, which can be filled out on the spot. 

📑 If personal data such as surname has changed, additional documentation will be required, such as a change of name certificate from the consulate or a translated marriage/divorce certificate.
