Who are the dervishes?
Dervishes (from the Persian word for "beggar") are Sufi mystics who devoted their lives to spiritual search. Their famous whirling dance is not just a ritual, but a deep mystical experience of unity with God.

Symbolism of each element:
• White robes are a symbol of death for worldly life
• Clockwise rotation is a reflection of the movement of the universe
• The right shoulder forward is an appeal to divine grace

Secrets of a thousand—year tradition:
✔️ 3 years of training - train the vestibular apparatus
✔️ Special pose — tilt your head 25° to the right
✔️ Jalun (not a skirt!) — helps to maintain balance when spinning

An amazing story:
In the 13th century, the great poet Jalaladdin Rumi, seeing how artisans work in circular movements, realized: "The whole world revolves in the love of God." His first ecstatic dance marked the beginning of a tradition.

How do the dervishes feel?
In a trance state, they can spin for up to 7 hours, reaching a special spiritual state — "intoxication with divine love."
